The Misadventures of the "Tepid Old Lady Summer" (shout out Meg thee Stallion)

We're back from a little summer hiatus and had a LOT of catching up to do! 

We break down what we've been doing over the break and help Mel understand what a "Hot Girl Summer" is. We briefly talk new music; dabble in this Popeye's chicken sandwich debate; shout out "The Six" and our friends north of the border in general; and MiMi confuses a health trend for Flinstones lingerie (just go with it).

Most importantly, we touch on what everyone's been watching; “Black Lady Sketch Show”, “The Boys”, “Stranger Things Season 3”, “Mindhunter”, “Euphoria” (Give Zendaya ALL HER THINGS), "Big Little Lies Season 3", "Years and Years", “Queen Sugar” (the show we all should be watching but aren’t), and what strain of virgin blood Angela Bassett, Bianca Lawson and Paul Rudd are bathing in to keep their youthful looks.

We also do a couple 90s throwback show references that solidifies our place in "middle-age-dom".
